The Roman Legions were legendary for their construction prowess on campaign, throwing up forts whenever they were required to halt for any length of time as temporary defensive positions. These wooden and earthwork constructions could serve as a bulwark against attacks on the legion encampment, and many grew over time into more permanent structures. 

A fantastic way to bring your Hail Caesar Epic Battles table to life and a great inspiration for countless games and scenarios, whether as a central objective, defended position, or simply as 'table dressing', no self-respecting Roman general should stop - even for a moment - without one of these awesome edifices to hand.
